The EDII and MHRD-cell organized a one day program on the topic  “Awareness Programme on Entrepreneurship and Innovation” at seminar hall  on 27-08-2022. The program focused on the various skills required for a budding entrepreneur and a glimpse of simple innovation that made a drastic change. The program started by 10:30 am with a invocation followed by the lighting of lamp of harmony .The dignitaries on the dias where Dr B. Vaikundaselvam (Chief Guest),executive director ,Nehru Group Of Institution-Technology Business Incubator, Dr. Ramkumar principal of UIT, Dr. Saravanamoorthy vice-principal of UIT, Dr.P.Sathish Kumar the chief EDII co-coordinator and the student president Ms. Amothini (III Year) of Robotics and Automation Department.

This event was felicitated by Dr.Ramkumar who welcomed our esteemed chief guest. He highlighted the importance of EDII club functioning and achievements to be made . At 11:10 am, Dr. Sathish Kumar delivered the annual report of 2021-2022 and placed the action plan for 2022-2023 for EDII cell of UIT. He also mentioned the achievements made by our Hackathon Finalist student teams and other accomplishments. Followed by that ,at  11:30 am oath taking ceremony  where every  board members were introduced , honoured with pinning of badges and pledged their devotion .Moving further around 12:00pm Ms.Amothini  student president gave a brief introduction about our esteemed chief guest and highlighted his achivements and awards. As a token of gratitude ,a memento  was given to our honorable chief guest by Dr. Ramkumar. Around 12:15 the stage was taken over by the chief guest who highlighted all the skills and knowledge required for the young entrepreneurs and guided us to be motivated towards our goals .He made an interaction with every student and it was a knowledge seeking session. By 1:00 pm ,the session came to an end and feedback is given to all students. Finally Ms. Dharshini from second year AI&DS delivered the vote of thanks followed by National anthem.
