Awareness Programme on Entrepreneurship and Innovtion

The EDII and MHRD-cell organized a one day program on the topic  “Awareness Programme on Entrepreneurship and Innovation” at seminar hall  on 27-08-2022. The program focused on the various skills required for a budding entrepreneur and a glimpse of simple innovation that made a drastic change. The program started by 10:30 am with a invocation followed by the lighting of lamp of harmony .The dignitaries on the dias where Dr B. Vaikundaselvam (Chief Guest),executive director ,Nehru Group Of Institution-Technology Business Incubator, Dr. Ramkumar principal of UIT, Dr. Saravanamoorthy vice-principal of UIT, Dr.P.Sathish Kumar the chief EDII co-coordinator and the student president Ms.

International Photography Day

Photography Club of United Institute of Technology has inaugurated the club and on account of International Photography Day the club has organized Photography and Poster Presentation on 26.08.2022.                                                                                                                                        

Handloom Day

This day also stands for the Protection of India’s rich handloom heritage and empowers handloom community with bigger and better opportunities. Dr.S.Ramkumar, principal of The United Institute of Technology addressed the gathering. Dr.Gokila secretary of WEC gave a short presentation on the history of National Handloom Day. This is the same day the Swadeshi movement was initiated at Calcutta against the British to boost the idea of self – help and self reliance on Indian goods and boycott foreign products. 13th Annual Day

United Institute of Technology, Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore celebrated its 13th Annual Day on June 04, 2022 at 10:30 AM in the seminar hall. United Institute of Technology identified the achievers in students under various categories like star performer in academics,100% attendance, special achiever award, social performer, best innovator award, active volunteer, and best outgoing student award. Faculty members were also ascertained for their exemplary performance in journal publications, paper presentations, patent filing, NPTEL courses, and organizing events at various levels. They were awarded with memento and certificates for their achievements during the year 2021-2022.

GATE awareness program

   Department of Training & Placement in association with department of Computer science and Engineering conducted an awareness program on "Ways to Crack GATE exams". Aspiring students from II and III years from all the departments attended the session.
